KXJB-TV, channel 4, is the CBS-affiliated television station for Fargo, North Dakota, serving eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. Licensed to Valley City, it broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 38 (virtual channel 4.1 via PSIP) from a transmitter near Galesburg.
Owned by Parker Broadcasting in Plano, Texas, KXJB is operated by Hoak Media Corporation (the parent company of NBC affiliate KVLY-TV) in Dallas, Texas under a local marketing agreement. The station shares it's facilities with KVLY-TV at the intersection of South University Drive and I-94 in Fargo. In addition to its main studio, the two stations operate a news bureau and sales office in the US Bank building in downtown Grand Forks.

The 2,060 foot high KXJB-TV mast, which is located near Galesburg, North Dakota, was the second tallest man-made structure on Earth; at the time, only the KVLY-TV mast near Blanchard was tallest, which is only 6 miles away from the KXJB mast.
